Crude Oil Futures Erase Gains; March Contract Trades Down 0.3% in New York

Crude oil erased gains on the New York Mercantile Exchange, where the March contract was down 27 cents, or 0.3 percent, at $100.27 a barrel at 8:39 a.m. London time after rising as much as 0.4 percent to $100.91.
