International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors will visit Iran starting January 29 to discuss the Middle East nation’s nuclear program, Mehr reported, citing Tehran’s ambassador to the United Nations nuclear watchdog.
The IAEA delegation will spend three days in Tehran, Ambassador Aliasghar Soltanieh yesterday told the state-run news agency.
The U.S. and its allies accuse Iran of seeking to develop atomic weapons under the cover of its nuclear program, a charge the Persian Gulf country denies.
