Erste Will Name Tomas Spurny as Romanian Unit’s CEO, ZF Reports

Erste Bank Group AG (EBS) will name Tomas Spurny as chief executive officer of its Romanian unit, Banca Comerciala Romana SA, which is Romania’s biggest bank by assets, Ziarul Financiar reported today, citing unidentified people in the banking business.
Spurny, 46, will replace Dominic Bruynseels, the Bucharest- based newspaper said today. He was previously chief executive officer of CIB Bank Zrt., the Hungarian unit of Italy’s Intesa Sanpaolo SpA. (ISP)
