South Korea to Ask North in May to Repay Food Loan, Maeil Says

South Korea in May will ask North Korea to pay for rice and corn supplies it gave in 2000 in the form of a loan, the Maeil Business Newspaper reported, citing South Korean government officials it didn’t identify. The loan worth $5.83 million expires in June, the report said.
