Rosneft Said to Sell 100,000 Tons of Sokol Crude to Vitol

Rosneft Oil Co. (ROSN) sold Russia’s Sokol crude for loading in March to Vitol Group at a premium to the Dubai benchmark of about $9 a barrel, according to four traders who participate in the market. They declined to be identified because the information is confidential.
Details of the sale are as follows:

Buyer: Vitol
Quantity: 100,000 tons, or 730,000 barrels
Loading: March 17-26
Port: DeKastri Terminal, Russia’s Far East
Price: About $9 a barrel premium to Dubai crude price
