Liverpool may offer Tottenham as much as 10 million pounds ($15.3 million) for striker Jermain Defoe, the Daily Mirror reported.
Bolton Chasing Dos Santos
Bolton manager Owen Coyle may put a 4 million pound bid in for Tottenham winger Giovani dos Santos, the Daily Mirror reported. A 3.4 million pound bid for the 22-year-old by Spanish club Sevilla was turned down.
City Close to Pozo Deal
Manchester City is close to signing 15-year-old Real Madrid strike Jose Angel Pozo for 3.5 million pounds, the Daily Mail reported. Pozo is expected to sign a five-year deal on March 15, the day he turns 16, the paper said.
Redknapp Scouting Remy
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has flown to France twice to see Marseille’s forward Loic Remy play, the Sun reported. The 25-year-old has been valued at 15 million pounds by the French club.
