Florida State Routs No. 3 North Carolina 90-57 in College Basketball
Deividas Dulkys scored a career-high 32 points as Florida State University defeated third-ranked University of North Carolina 90-57 in men’s college basketball.
Michael Snaer had 17 points and Okaro White came off the bench to score 12 points and grab 10 rebounds for the Seminoles (11-6, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) at Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee, Florida.
Florida State never trailed after Dulkys put his team ahead 3-0 at 39 seconds into the game. The Seminoles had a 36-28 halftime lead and started the second half with a 30-8 run.
The Seminoles hit 48 percent from the floor, 44 percent of their 3-point attempts and 45 percent from the foul line. The Tar Heels (15-3, 2-1 ACC) connected on 37 percent of their field goal attempts, 19 percent of their 3-pointers and 45 percent of their foul shots.
Harrison Barnes had 15 points for North Carolina and Tyler Zeller scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
