Turkey Has Solar Interest from BP Solar, Google, Sabah Reports

Turkey has potential interest in solar energy investments from BP Solar and Google Inc. (GOOG), Sabah newspaper reported, citing Ilker Ayci, head of the investment promotion agency.

The agency’s priority is to encourage investment in the automotive and petrochemicals industries, to reduce Turkey’s dependence on imports, Ayci said, according to the Istanbul- based newspaper.
