Jordan’s King Abdullah to Meet Obama at White House on Jan. 17

King Abdullah IIof Jordan will meet with President Barack Obama on Jan. 17 at the White House to discuss bilateral and regional issues, the administration said.
Talks will focus on Middle East peace, including “the goal of a negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians,” as well as economic and security issues and Abdullah’s efforts to create a more transparent and inclusive government in Jordan, according to a statement e-mailed from the White House.
