Alvarion Soars to 2-Month High in Israel After U.S. Stock Gains

Alvarion Ltd. (ALVR) surged to the highest level since October following a gain in the telecommunication- equipment maker’s U.S. shares on Jan. 6.
The stock (ALVR) jumped 11 percent to 4.05 shekels, or the equivalent of $1.05, the highest level since Oct. 31, at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv. The U.S.-traded shares rose 4.7 percent to $1.01.
