Real Madrid Defeats Granada 5-1 to Extend Spanish Soccer Lead

Real Madrid beat Granada 5-1 to increase its lead over Barcelona in Spanish soccer’s Primera Liga.

Karim Benzema had two goals and Sergio Ramos, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo scored once each at Madrid’s Bernabeu Stadium. Real moves six points ahead of Barcelona, which plays Espanyol tomorrow.

Diego Milito scored twice in the first half to help Inter Milan to 5-0 home win over Parma in Italy’s Serie A.

Thiago Motta, Giampaolo Pazzini and Marco Davide Faroni also scored as Inter moved up to fifth place, five points behind co-leaders AC Milan and Juventus, which both play tomorrow.
