BR Partners, a Brazilian financial- advisory firm founded by a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. executive, was granted licenses to operate as a bank and a brokerage, Veja magazine reported, without saying where it got the information.
The licenses were given by the Brazilian central bank, Veja said. BR Partners was founded in 2009 by Ricardo Lacerda, former head of Goldman Sachs’s Brazil unit.
