Rangers Beat Panthers 3-2 in Overtime to Stay Top on NHL Atlantic Division

Marian Gaborik scored in overtime to extend the New York Rangers’ winning streak to three games with a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers.

The Rangers lead the National Hockey League’s five-team Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division from the Boston Bruins and Florida.

Anton Stralman tied the game for the Rangers after Marcel Goc scored in the first period.

Following a scoreless second period at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Ryan Callahan scored on a power play at 4:24 in the third for the Rangers and Mike Santorelli tied the game 36 seconds later.

Gaborik’s winning goal came at 3:29 of overtime.
