Oil companies: Crude oil fell as much as 0.5 percent in electronic trading in New York today after dropping 1.4 percent yesterday.
PTT Pcl (PTT) , Thailand’s biggest energy company, increased 1.2 percent to 328 baht. PTT Exploration & Production Pcl (PTTEP) , the nation’s only publicly traded oil explorer, added 0.6 percent to 176.5 baht.
Delta Electronics (Thailand) Pcl (DELTA) : The Thai maker of electronic parts plans to invest between $20 and $40 million for expansion, the English-language The Nation newspaper reported, citing President Henry Hsieh. Revenue may rise by at least 10 percent in 2012, the newspaper said. The shares fell 4 percent to 21.6 baht.
