Banks Hesitate to Finance Energy Projects, Handelsblatt Says

German banks are hesitant to fund energy projects including offshore wind parks and power plants fired with gas turbines, as the European debt crisis complicates rules to finance large, long-running projects, Handelsblatt said in a statement previewing tomorrow’s edition, citing experts including Thomas Kresser, finance chief of Alstom SA (ALO) in Germany.
