Turkey’s Vestel Sees Gulf Interest for Smart Tablets, AA Says

Vestel Elektronik Sanayi & Ticaret AS (VESTL) is seeing demand from the Middle East for electronic tablets it’s developing for use in Turkish classrooms, Chairman Omer Yungul told the state-run Anatolia news agency.

The company has begun negotiations to sell the tablets to foreign countries and aims to make Turkey a production hub for smart boards and tablet computers, Yungul was quoted by AA as saying.
