Gilat Rises to Five-Month High on Extension of Colombia Services

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (GILT) advanced to the highest level in almost five months after the developer of satellite-networking technology said it extended service agreements in Columbia.
The shares (GILT) rose 2 percent to 15.67 shekels, the highest intraday level since Aug. 10, at 4:06 p.m. in Tel Aviv.
Gilat valued the extended services with the Colombian Ministry of Information Technology and Communications at $16 million, according to a filing with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
