India’s NMDC Appoints Nanda to Succeed Som as Company Chairman

NMDC Ltd. (NMDC), India’s largest iron ore producer, said it appointed Narendra Kumar Nanda to succeed Rana Som as chairman and managing director.

Som retired on Dec. 31, NMDC said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. Nanda will retain his position as technical director, the company said.
