Cameron’s Party Ahead of Labour in U.K. Polls, Independent Says

Prime Minister David Cameron’s Conservative Party moved ahead of the U.K. opposition Labour Party for the first time in 14 months, the Independent said, citing its latest poll of polls.

A weighted average of this month’s polls shows the Conservatives gaining four points to 39 percent, with Labour down one point to 38 percent, according to the newspaper. The Conservatives’ ruling coalition partner, the Liberal Democrats, are unchanged at 12 percent, the newspaper said.
