Thai Stocks: Capital Nomura, Khon Kaen Sugar, Property Perfect

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. (SET) Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 12:30 p.m. lunch break in Bangkok.

The SET Index fell 0.3 percent to 1,025.63.

Capital Nomura Securities Pcl (CNS) : The stock brokerage rose 0.9 percent to 28.25 baht, headed for its biggest gain since Dec. 9. The company denied media reports that it was in talks with a potential business partner, Capital Nomura said in a statement released during the trading break, without specifying the source of the speculation.

Khon Kaen Sugar Industry Pcl (KSL) rose 1.5 percent to 13.2 baht, poised for its biggest gain in a week. The company said annual net income jumped more than 11-fold to 1.9 billion baht ($60 million).

Property Perfect Pcl (PF) , a property developer, increased 1.5 percent to 0.69 baht, headed for the sharpest gain in more than a week. The company offered to buy the shares it doesn’t own in We Retail Pcl at 1.14 baht apiece.
