Tokyo Broadcasting, ABC Settle Copyright Suit, Yomiuri Says

Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings Inc. (9401) and U.S. television network ABC settled a copyright lawsuit over “Wipeout,” a reality program that the Japanese company had claimed was a copycat, the Yomiuri newspaper said.

The newspaper didn’t say where it got the information.

Tokyo Broadcasting had sued The Walt Disney Co. (DIS)’s ABC, demanding that ABC halt the program and pay compensation.
