OAO Rosneft, Russia’s state oil champion, overtook Exxon Mobil Corp. as the biggest publicly traded crude producer in the world after output at the U.S. company declined in the third quarter, Vedomosti reported, citing company data.
Rosneft produces about 2.37 million barrels a day, versus 2.33 million barrels a day for Exxon, the Moscow-based newspaper said today. Exxon is bigger if gas and gas condensate are included, Vedomosti said.
