Quarterbacks Rodgers, Brady Lead Conferences in 2012 Pro Bowl Fan Voting

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady were the top vote-getters in fan balloting for the 2012 Pro Bowl.

Rodgers led all players with almost 1.6 million votes in figures released yesterday by the National Football League, which said more than 100 million votes were cast overall.

Brady led American Football Conference players with almost 1.5 million votes. New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker were third, fourth and fifth in the voting.

The teams will be based on voting by fans, players and coaches. The Pro Bowl will be played Jan. 29 at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
