GDF Suez Confirms Williamson Project Leader, Corporate Finance

GDF Suez, France’s largest natural- gas producer, confirmed that Mark Williamson, chief financial officer of International Power, has been appointed as project leader on its corporate finance team, effective May 15.

Geert Peeters, senior vice president and chief financial officer of the company’s Global Gas and LNG business line, is to become deputy CFO of International Power in January and then CFO in May, the Paris-based utility said in an e-mailed statement.

Benoit Mignard, director of acquisition investment and financial advisory of GDF Suez, will replace Peeters as CFO of the Global Gas and LNG business line, while Didier Engels, the group’s planning and controlling director, will become CFO of the Energy Europe business line, GDF Suez said.

Pierre Chareyre, now chief executive officer of GDF Suez Trading, is to become deputy CFO of GDF Suez on Feb. 15. Sebastien Arbola, currently in charge of mergers and acquisitions reporting to Mignard, on May 15 will become mergers and acquisitions director reporting directly to GDF Suez Executive Vice President and CFO Isabelle Kocher.
