National Bank of Oman to Offer Islamic Services, Observer Says

National Bank of Oman SAOG (NBOB) plans to offer Islamic banking services after gaining approval from the country’s central bank, the Oman Daily Observer said, citing the bank’s Deputy Chairman Mohammed al-Ardhi.

The bank seeks diversification in offering Shariah- compliant lending, al-Ardhi said, according to the Observer.
