Canada Home Prices Unchanged in October, Teranet Says

Canadian house prices were unchanged in October from the previous month, according to the Teranet- National Bank Composite House Price Index.
Housing prices rose 7.0 percent in September from a year earlier, according to a report released today by National Bank Financial.
Prices fell on the month in seven of the 11 cities covered, the report showed. Toronto led gains in October, with prices advancing 0.8 percent. Housing prices in Calgary and Victoria, British Columbia fell 1.5 percent, according to the statement.
