Australian Bonds Advance; Yield on 10-Year Securities Declines to Record

Australian government bonds advanced, pushing the yield on 10-year securities to a record low, amid concern Europe will struggle to resolve its debt crisis.

The 10-year rate fell seven basis points, or 0.07 percentage point, to 3.718 percent as of 11:42 a.m. in Sydney.
