Islamists Head for Win in Second Round of Egypt Vote, Ahram Says

Egypt’s Freedom and Justice Party, an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood movement, won more than 39 percent of the vote in the second round of the country’s parliamentary poll, the state-run Al Ahram newspaper reported.
The Salafist Nour Party garnered 31 percent of the vote, followed by the secular Wafd Party, which won 22 percent, the Cairo-based newspaper said, citing preliminary results.
