Russia’s Meat Imports Rose 3.2% in First 10 Months of This Year

Russia’s imports of fresh and frozen meat rose 3.2 percent to almost 1.2 million metric tons in the first 10 months this year compared with the same period a year earlier, the Federal State Statistics Service said.
Pork imports were 5.8 percent higher at 597,000 tons, it said in an e-mailed statement today. Poultry imports rose 1 percent to 371,000 tons, according to the statement.
