Lithuanian Prosecutors Seek to Freeze Antonov Assets in Panama

Lithuanian prosecutors sent requests to Panama to freeze domestic assets owned by former Bankas Snoras AB (SRS1L) shareholder Vladimir Antonov.
The requests for legal assistance were sent on Dec. 13 though Interpol, the Vilnius-based Prosecutor General’s office said in a statement on its website today.
Antonov signed an agreement on Nov. 19 to sell his 85.16 percent stake in Banco Trasatlantico SA in Panama to minority shareholders, all Panamanian, banking regulator said in an e- mailed statement on Dec. 6.
