Chris Paul Trade From Hornets to L.A. Clippers is Back on, ESPN Reports

The New Orleans Hornets have agreed to a deal that would send All-Star point guard Chris Paul and two draft picks to the Los Angeles Clippers for three players and a draft choice, ESPN reported.

The trade would send Paul and two future second-round draft picks to the Hornets in exchange for guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and a 2012 first- round draft pick, ESPN said, citing people close to the process who requested anonymity.

The deal, which ESPN said is awaiting approval from the National Basketball Association, would culminate almost a week of efforts by the Hornets to trade Paul.

The move comes six days after NBA Commissioner David Stern rejected a deal that would have sent Paul to the Los Angeles Lakers, who share their home arena with the Clippers.
