Aussie, Kiwi Dollars Decline Against Most Peers on Global Growth Concern

The Australian and New Zealand dollars extended declines against the U.S. currency and the yen. The so-called Aussie fell 0.2 percent to 98.95 U.S. cents as of 12:17 p.m. in Sydney from yesterday, and slid 0.2 percent to 77.24 yen. It touched 77.18 yen, the lowest since Nov. 29. The kiwi declined 0.4 percent to 74.79 U.S. cents and lost 0.4 percent to 58.37 yen.
