Telecom Namibia Acquires Mobile Operator Leo, New Era Reports

Telecom Namibia, the state-owned fixed-line operator, bought Leo, the southern African nation’s second-largest mobile operator, New Era reported.

Telecom Namibia will use Leo to strengthen its mobile-phone operations, the Windhoek-based newspaper said, citing Chairman Joseph Iita. The terms of the transaction haven’t been revealed, New Era reported.
