Mauritius Plans $102 Million Link Road, le Matinal Reports

Mauritius’s government plans to build a road linking the east of the island to the west to reduce traffic congestion, le Matinal reported, without saying where it got the information.

The 35-kilometer (22-mile) road will cost about 3 billion rupees ($102 million), the Port Louis-based newspaper said on its website today.
