Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer will miss four to six weeks with a spinal injury, the Premier League club said on its website.
Schwarzer, 39, was hurt in a 2-0 loss at Swansea four days ago. He saw a specialist yesterday and was diagnosed with a compression injury to his thoracic spine, Fulham said.
The Australian is expected to return toward the end of January and goalkeeper David Stockdale has been recalled from his loan spell at Ipswich, Fulham said.
