Estonian Teachers Plan Strike Next Year, Postimees Says

Estonian teachers plan a nationwide strike at the end of January or at the beginning of February after the ruling coalition turned down their wage demands, Postimees reported, citing Sven Rondik, head of educational workers’ union.
Teachers aren’t satisfied with the government’s response that wage increases will only become possible after the school network is reorganized, Postimees said. They expect other unions to join their strike in support.
