Czech Stocks: Erste Group Bank, Philip Morris Shares Are Active
The Czech Republic’s PX equity index declined 1 percent to 853.80 at the end of trading in Prague.
The following were among the most active stocks in the Czech market today. Stock symbols follow company names.
Erste Bank Group AG (RBAG) of Austria, fell 4.7 percent to 293.6 koruna, the lowest close since Nov. 25, in Prague trading after Deutsche Bank AG cut its price estimate by 26 percent on lower earnings expectations and capital concerns.
Philip Morris CR AS (TABAK) , the Czech unit of the world’s largest publicly traded tobacco company, rose 0.3 percent to 12,090 koruna after Komercni Banka AS raised its share price estimate to 12,440 koruna from 10,600 koruna.
