Hong Kong Rejects Plan for Electricity Rate Hike, RTHK Says

Hong Kong’s government has rejected calls for higher electricity tariffs from power providers CLP Holdings Ltd. and Hong Kong Electric Co., a unit of Power Assets Holdings Ltd., Radio Television Hong Kong reported without naming its source.
The government found proposals for price increases by the two were “unacceptable,” RTHK quoted the source as saying.
