Alvarion Rises to Six-Week High in Tel Aviv as U.S. Stocks Gain

Alvarion Ltd. (ALVR) surged to the highest level in six weeks following a rise in the telecommunication- equipment maker’s U.S. shares yesterday.

The shares rose 9.5 percent to 4.04 shekels, or the equivalent of $1.07, the highest intraday level since Nov. 2. at 1:59 p.m. in Tel Aviv. The U.S.-traded shares rose 6.2 percent to $1.03.
