Spot Gold Declines for First Day in Three Before European Summit on Crisis

Gold for immediate delivery declined for the first time in three days, falling as much as 0.3 percent to $1,736.97 an ounce, and traded at $1,738.28 by 8:32 a.m. Singapore time. February-delivery futures slid 0.2 percent to $1,742.20 an ounce on the Comex in New York.
