U.K. Stocks Drop; Benchmark FTSE 100 Index Declines 0.6 Percent in London

U.K. stocks declined, reversing earlier gains. The benchmark FTSE 100 Index lost 35.77, or 0.6 percent, to 5,532.95 as of 1:29 p.m. in London. The gauge earlier rallied as much as 1.1 percent.
