France’s Trade Deficit Narrowed in October as Exports Advanced
France’s trade deficit narrowed in October as exports climbed, helped by an increase in Airbus shipments.
The deficit was 6.2 billion euros ($8.4 billion) in October, down from a revised 6.6 billion euros in September, the customs office said today in an e-mailed statement.
Exports gained to 35.8 billion euros from 35.6 billion euros, as Airbus shipments rose to 23 from 18. Imports declined to 42.1 billion euros from 42.2 billion euros.
