The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of 4:10 p.m. Lima time.
Industrial and mining stocks gained as U.S. stocks and metals advanced, Jose Luis Bustamante, head of trading at Cartisa SAB, said in a telephone interview.
Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1) (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA, rose 2.2 percent to 92 centimos. Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), the Lima-based lead and silver mining company, climbed 2.2 percent to 94 centimos. Empresa Siderurgica del Peru SAA (SIDERC1) (SIDERC1 PE), a unit of Gerdau SA known as Siderperu, gained 2.1 percent to 95 centimos. Cementos Pacasmayo SAA (CPACASI1) (CPACASC1 PE), the Hochschild Group’s cement producer, climbed 2 percent to 5.02 soles. Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO PE), the country’s biggest producer of the metal, rose 1.8 percent to $31.20.
