Italian 10-Year Government Bonds Advance; Spanish Yields Fall a Sixth Day

Italian and Spanish government bonds opened higher, with the yield on Spain’s securities falling for the sixth-straight day.

The yield on 10-year Italian bonds fell nine basis points to 6.59 percent at 7:37 a.m. London time. The rate on Spanish securities maturing in April 2021 declined five basis points to 5.63 percent.
