Austria to Cut Costs Even Without Constitutional Debt Brake

Austria’s Finance Minister Maria Fekter said the country will cut costs even without a constitutional debt brake.

“We will continue to work on a reform program,” Fekter told reporters in Vienna today. “We will start a cost cutting path to reduce deficits, because I consider it for incredibly important that our finances stay stable.”
