Jets Beat Redskins 34-19 to Keep Pace With Patriots, Who Down Colts 31-24

Shonn Greene scored three touchdowns as the New York Jets beat the Washington Redskins to keep pace with the New England Patriots, who left the Indianapolis Colts winless through 12 games in the National Football League.

The Jets won 34-19 to improve to 7-5 and remain two games behind the Patriots in the American Football Conference East division. New England is 9-3 for the season after a 31-24 win over the Colts, who slumped to 0-12 for the first time since 1986, when they lost their opening 13 games.
