Ship Demand to Benefit From Central-Bank Liquidity, Platou Says

Demand for ships carrying cars, chemicals and manufactured goods will benefit from yesterday’s joint step by central banks to boost liquidity, according to RS Platou Markets AS.

That will help companies such as A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA (WWASA), Awilco LNG AS and Stolt-Nielsen Ltd. (SNI), Oslo-based Platou analyst Frode Moerkedal said in an e-mailed note today.
