Rostowski Says National Aid Plans Will Be Coordinated Across EU

Polish Finance Minister Jacek Rostowski said measures to coordinate national guarantees for banks’ debt issuance will have to be in line with EU state aid measures to be approved by the European Commission tomorrow.

The guarantees will have “maximum comparability” between countries, he said. The commission will review rules for the guarantees, set to take effect from the start of next year, after six months, he said.
