Ivory Coast Farmgate Cocoa Prices in Week to Nov. 20

The following are prices paid for cocoa at the main growing centers in Ivory Coast from Nov. 14 to Nov. 20, according to figures published by the Bourse du Cafe et du Cacao on its website.

The national average paid was 745 CFA francs ($1.51) per kilogram (2.2 pounds), the state-run bourse said. The highest was 800 francs and the lowest 700 francs. The West African nation is the world’s biggest cocoa producer.

Ivory Coast set on Oct. 3 the indicative farmgate cocoa price for the season 2011-2012 at 1,000 CFA francs.

Prices are in francs per kilogram ($1 = 493.5 CFA francs).
