A group of 30 private-sector holders of Greek government debt formed a steering committee to conduct talks on a debt swap with Greek and euro region authorities, the Institute of International Finance said.
Co-chairmen of the committee will be IIF Managing Director Charles Dallara and Jean Lemierre, a senior adviser to BNP Paribas SA (BNP), the Washington-based organisation said in an e- mailed statement today. Representatives of Alpha Bank SA (ALPHA), Deutsche Bank AG (DBK), National Bank of Greece SA (ETE), Commerzbank AG (CBK), AXA SA (CS) and CNP Assurances (CNP) are among the 11 members of the steering committee, the statement said.
